Thai Massage

Created in Thailand 2500 years ago, Thai Massage uses gentle rocking, rhythmic compressions, deep stretching, sophisticated range-of-motion maneuvers, and pressure point work. It addresses deep muscle and joint tension and mobility. It's been described as "lazy man's yoga" since the body is taken passively through a complete stretch. Thai Massage is performed with the client wearing comfortable, loose clothing. Available in 60, 75 and 90 minute sessions.

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal massage is beneficial for a woman at any stage of pregnancy. All of our therapists are trained to work with pregnant women. Available in 60, 75 and 90 minute sessions.

Many people ask if we utilize a pregnancy table that has a large cut out for the woman's stomach. We do not offer these tables because there are ligaments that support the belly in this position, and the "hanging" stretches them. These ligaments are crucial in supporting the woman's expanding uterus.

We do have a very high quality hydraulic massage table that has a back that elevates so we can elevate the woman's legs and back to not impede oxygen to the fetus. It is very comfortable, and an ideal table to work on prenatal women.

Massage Your Baby Class

We are now offering private infant massage classes to new parents. In three 45 minute sessions, Julie will show you how to safely, gently and thoroughly give your new baby a complete massage. You'll leave with a bottle of sweet almond oil gently scented with lavender and a booklet describing each stroke learned throughout the class. This class is good for newborns through 12 months of age, and is priced at $139 for the series. One or two parents may be part of the class.

Energy Work

Energy work is comprised of a number of systems of metaphysical practices such as Reiki, Polarity Therapy, Cranio-Sacral, Quantum Touch, Therapeutic Touch, and other approaches involving the transference or channeling of energy. Available in 30, 45 and 60 minute sessions.

Jaw Pain Eliminator

This service is perfect for those who struggle with TMJ dysfunction or jaw pain. In 30 minutes, we will systematically work the muscles of your jaw, including those inside your mouth (while wearing a non-latex glove). The muscles under the chin, on your skull, and above and below your jaw will all be treated to reduce pain and headaches associated with jaw dysfunction.

The philosophy of reflexology goes back thousands of years beginning in Ancient Egypt, China and India. It is based on the idea that our feet and hands have "reflex" zones that are linked to other parts of the body. Congestion or tension in the foot can indicate struggles in the corresponding part of the body. For no additional charge, you may convert 15 or 30 minutes of your massage to Reflexology.
